Start by Believing

In observance of Sexual Assault Awareness Month (#SAAM) and in solidarity with the Start By Believing Campaign aimed at changing how society responds to sexual assault victims, Yavapai College is hosting an art exhibit at the Boyd Tenney Library on the Prescott Campus.

The exhibition features paintings, sculptures, drawings and graphic designs inspired by the Start By Believing Campaign’s positive impact in our communities and/or by the trauma of sexual assault. Featured artists include current and former YC students.

All are welcome and encouraged to attend an opening reception for the exhibit at 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 5 – Start By Believing Day – at the Boyd Tenney Library. Exhibit partners are the Yavapai College Visual Arts and Administration of Justice programs, The Literary Southwest and the Boyd Tenney Library.
